Who is eligible?
To use this service, you must get a DSHS Provider One Card which you use to pay for your medical visits. In addition, you must have no other way to get to your medical appointments.

How do I schedule a ride?
Please call our office at least 2 business days before your medical appointment. Call between 7:00 am and 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Call at least 2 weeks in advance to order bus passes or ferry tickets. 

What types of transportation services are available?
We arrange the lowest cost, most suitable transportation for your needs, including: Bus Passes or Tickets, Gas Vouchers, Volunteer Drivers, Shared Ride, and Cabulance.

Paratransit Services provides Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) brokerage services under contract with the State of Washington's Health Care Authority (HCA). Services include door to door trip coordination and scheduling as well as the distribution of bus passes from local municipalities to qualified recipients.

Paratransit Services is one of six transportation brokers contracted by the HCA to provide Medicaid Transportation and associated services. Paratransit Services currently operates in 11 Washington Counties and its headquarters is in Bremerton Washington.
